What is it?
Box provides a secure environment for students, faculty, and staff to store and share files and folders.
Why use it?
Box offers free, unlimited cloud storage for all Pomona faculty, staff, and students. Users are able to create or upload files and folders, share them using a direct link, invite others to collaborate, and revise and review your files from anywhere.
How do I get started?
If you are new to Pomona College, log in to the Portal at https://my.pomona.edu and look for the Box link to get your account created. Once your account is created, you should receive an account activation email to activate your account.
After you activate your account, you can log in to Box using the Claremont Colleges Single-Sign On (SSO). At https://box.pomona.edu, hit “Continue” to join as Part of Pomona College. You can then sign in by choosing Pomona College from drop down list, and entering your Pomona username and password.
How do I get help?
ITS Staff is available to answer your questions and meet you for a consultation and/or group training, if needed. We can help brainstorm ideas for using Box in your teaching based on your specific needs and discipline. Simply reach out to email@example.com.
