Project Title: Digital Resource Development for Teaching and Supporting Writing, Oral Communication and Visual Rhetoric
Project Goal: Thomas aims to enhance and expand resources for writing, speaking, and image communication at Pomona College by capturing and developing high-quality, accessible materials. The project involves recording workshops and training sessions from the Fall 2024 ID1 Workshop series and other related programs to create digital resources like videos, PowerPoints, and interactive online materials. These resources will support both faculty and students, particularly in Writing- and Speaking-Intensive courses, by making pedagogy more equitable and addressing gaps in student preparedness. The materials will be hosted on the CSWIM/Writing Program website, enabling faculty to integrate them into their teaching and allowing students to access them independently to improve their skills in writing, research, and communication.
