Project Title: External Storage for Game Footage Catalog
Project Goal: The goal of Alex’s project is to have the ability to safely catalog all their games dating back to at least 2017. Alumni frequently request access to game footage, and they often struggle to provide it quickly. Alex is using Sportscode, a software that allows organizing game film in a productive manner by allowing the creation on databases of entire games, seasons, situations, and individuals. The software also offers the ability to utilize scripting codes to pull out analytical data to provide an advantage over other teams. The only caveat is that this requires more memory and storage capabilities. Now, with these hard drives and a high-capacity drive, they can securely store all their games for future evaluations and make them easily accessible for their alumni when they return and want to watch their games.
