Pomona Resources
The RITG team has curated a range of resources across different formats to support our community as we transition to Canvas, following a consortial decision. While many schools are adopting or have already transitioned to Canvas, it’s essential to recognize that each institution operates its own instance. Consequently, features and user interfaces may differ between schools.

A self-paced course specifically designed to support the transition to Canvas. The Canvas@Pomona course covers different levels of Canvas knowledge – Getting Started, Basics, and Beyond Basics. Pomona instructors can use this link to self-enroll in the course, which will prompt for single sign-on credentials. Non-Pomona instructors submit a request to be manually added to the course.

Over the course of the semester our team offers one hour faculty development sessions in-person and over Zoom. When possible, we try to record these sessions so that the information that was covered can be shared with individuals that are unable to attend. We have uploaded these recordings and created a channel in Media Space (Kaltura) so they can be easily accessed in one location.
