Using Version Control in the Classroom: git, GitHub, GitLab

Have you heard of or seen fellow colleagues use version control in the classroom, but don’t know how/where to begin? If so, and you want to get it right the first time then, this session is for you! This is an introductory session to the world of version control in the classroom. We will discuss the differences between the various available tools including advantages and limitations, how they are supported, and how they are used by faculty at Pomona College as well as other educational institutions.
