Faculty Panel: Reflections on Teaching with Technology during the Online Fall Semester

We are excited to announce this event which features three Pomona faculty talking about their Fall Semester experiences teaching with technology.

• • Jody Valentine (Visiting Assistant Professor of Classics) will talk about WordPress, Pressbooks, Hypothes.is, Responsive Syllabus Development, and Somatic Pedagogy.
  • Katy Muzikar (Biochemistry Laboratory Coordinator) will talk about her use of Virtual Laboratories, Sakai Lessons tool, and VidGrid videos.
  • Mark Allen (Professor of Art) will talk about using Slack for giving quick in-progress feedback, different ways of using breakout groups, and the complete abandonment of email for student/faculty communication.
