Community Building Strategies

How do you build and maintain community with students at a distance? Join us to hear two Pomona faculty share their strategies from their Fall courses:

• Katy Muzikar (Chemistry) will talk about her use of VidGrid videos for student connections.
• Kyla Tompkins (Gender & Women’s Studies) will talk about using Zoom for offering student space for collaborative work.

We will then break up into groups for deeper discussions and hear from others share their own tips.
